Cloning has been something we have heard about for years, dating back to when the first sheep Dolly was cloned in 1996. It’s something we see in movies or TV, but for it to now be not only commercially available but mainstream enough for me to hear a rando at lunch talk about having it done brings the reality of the situation and its possibilities both good and bad to the forefront.

Sinogene is the closest cloning company to me. Located in the bay area, Sinogene has successfully cloned “Dozens of people’s beloved pets & best friends”. One of their recent success stories is Ruta. Shin & her husband lost their dog Ruta in 2020.

So, they looked into cloning and at a hefty price of $50,000 for a dog ($35k for cats & $80k for horses) this was not a decision to take lightly. Shin decided to go through with it. They submitted a sample and were able to pull a clean cell, remove the genome of the DNA, bond with Oocyies, create enbroyo, transfer to surrogate mom & bam a brand-new exact copy of Ruta was born. Now that may sound like a simple food network recipe for “grandmas classic mac and cheese” but its actually much more complicated.

At this point, like me, you may be asking the question why didn’t they just get another dog? Well people are people and sometimes people be crazy. People are also constantly trying to move forward and push to the new scientific frontier. Colossal for example has just raised another 60 million dollars in funding for it’s attempted de-extinction of the Wolly Mammoth. With planned first clones produced in 2026 and reintroduced into the wild in 2027.

Through the same gene editing from preserved mammoth tissue found in melting perma frost and an Indian elephant as the surrogate. This is not only possible but will most likely be the reality that we will see with our own eyes.

Now as I personally think that is pretty dang cool. However, it did get me down a path of thought that honestly frightened me. Considering that commercial availability of a product typically means that the military technology is about 20 years ahead. As well as the fact that scientist have stated that we have completed the map of the human genome, most likely a government entity has already cloned a human. There are more than likely already human clones walking around government facilities. There are many questions ethically that this brings up. There is a question of traditional human rights of if a clone is a person or a property etc. There may be a real possibility we see these issues be worked out in government within our lifetime. As I was researching this I talked to an individual at Stanford. He brought up a point that really knocked my ethical compass askew. “Say you were a muliti-millionaire or billionaire in your mid to late 40s. Say you know of those companies. What if you then went about cloning yourself, but never allowing the clone consonance. That clone now has exact replicas of your body parts. Lung cancer? No problem pull the spare lungs from the clone in the freezer.” I was shocked. As I put the puzzle pieces together. Surrogate mothers are already a common thing for a price. The genome mapping is available, and there is already mainstream medical processes for IVF .This scenario seemed extremely possible. We battle over abortion daily imagine the moral issues this causes. But deep down ask yourself if you had the money would you do it? If you were the leader of a large country with massive wealth and power, wouldn’t you want to keep power position and life for as long as possible?

Just to really put a cherry on top of the thoughts in your mind, Sinogene is a Chinese company. Fully funded and started with Chinese money and tech, operating here in the US. Makes you wonder what Mr. Xi Drs appointments are like. Eh, I’m sure his moral compass is pure & the lure of this new technology could never tempt the esteemed leader of CCP.

On January 16th at 4 a.m. in a small city off of Highway 99 35 miles SE of Fresno CA, Tulare County sheriff's received a call about an active shooter. When Sheriff's arrived they didn’t find an active shooter but the did discover the devastation they had left. 6 dead including a 16 year old mother and her 10 month old baby. In a ditch outside of the house where according to Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux detectives believe “She ran out of the house carrying her baby but the shooters chased her down, stood over the two and shot them both in the head”. In the end, Rosa Perraz (72), Eladio Parraz Jr (52) Jennifer Anulclu (50) Marcos Parraz (19) Alissa Parraz (16) and 10 month old Nycholas Parraz were shot execution style in the head and chest. “Going in and massacuring an entire family goes above and beyond. Thats why I continue to focus on a high level gang-style execution or cartel execution. I’m not pointing the finger at any one cartel i’m not. But what took place is very much like what we’ve seen in the past when it comes to an execution by a cartel” said Sherrif Boudreaux.

Not only does the style of murders indicate cartel influence but other mitigating factors show a clear path in that direction. Just a week prior to the murders, a narcotics search warrant was served at the property. Marijuana, meth, large amounts of money, and guns were taken from the house. Eladio who is a convicted felon was arrested and bailed out 4 days later. His connection to an individual cartel has not been made public but himself and the address of the residents have a history of being a lay overstop and stash house for cartels traveling up and down the 99.

The 99 is the blood line for AG production for the state of CA. It’s the major corridor to moving the produce grown in the bread basket of the world out to Port or out east. It is also the blood line for death, destruction and horror. The cartels use this same artery to move drugs, money, and people. Setting up hubs to get product into communities from Bakersfield to Stockton. No different then how Amazon picked its large distribution facilities right off this Golden State Boulevard. Over 3.5 million people live along this highway. Each city within its path has much higher homicide rates then its neighbors. Sinola and Tijuana boys fight over its territory, influence, and people up and down California but in the states core the violence is on par with that back in Mexico.

What looked like a random drug bust one week prior most likely set in motion a chilling chain of events. Eladio possibly sniched about his dealings with the cartel, he may have lost to much product in the bust but whatever the reason a massage was sent. You Fuck up…you’re whole family dies. As our boarder is wide open, our prisons being emptied, and the power of the Cartels grow in Mexico they will continue to export not only drugs guns and people but what they do best…cold blooded violence.
